Everything went good until we had him loaded in the truck about ready to leave the surgery center. I was laying him down and he looked at me and I couldnt beleive my eyes. The muscle that they had cut and stiched up in his right eye was just hanging out of his eye. So I run back in, grab one of the nurses, she comes and checks it out and he is back in the surgery room.
Cayson must of rubbed his eyes hard enough on my shoulder while walking out to the truck that it popped the stiches off(or the Dr could of snipped it while covering the white layer of his eye back down). We dont know what happened, but were glad that it happened before we left town.
So his right eye is more tender then the left.
The first time his eyes didnt bother him. They pulled the muscles from the inside of his eye on the first surgery. Well that just wasnt good enough, his eyes were still turning in. Not alot, but still! So the 2nd surgery they loosened some muscles from the the inner and tightned on the outside of his eye. We are hoping this works. The first surgery took care of his vision. So no more glasses! YAY!!!! We just hope this takes care of him being crossed eye.
Cayson was so tuff, he did not cry once or complain. Not even when they had to take him back the second time. The only time he has cryed is in the middle of the night. I think he rubs his eyes with out knowing and then they start hurting.
BEWARE! THESE PICTURES WILL MAKE YOUR EYES HURT! LOL
